I was sitting chatting with someone the other day and the person asked if I was a life coach. And since I did go to the school for that, I replied yes. Long story short they asked if the Softening Judgment Workshop would help others become more congruent in the workplace. I had never actually thought of it that way. So we went on a chat about what it does for people and how it helps others become more patient and have a broader view about the world in general.
The most interesting thing I found was my work generally stays in the Spiritual communities, because of the last few hours we put on different hats and become the puppet in the puppet show. I asked if the business in question was in the spiritual/healing/self help/anything alternative these days. The answer was no.
Many doing the type of work I do would never admit what I am about to say next, as they want to keep the wool over your eyes of who they truly are. To be perfectly honest I never figured a business would be interested in coming. So, no matter how gifted everyone around thinks you are they will always throw out something from left field to keep you on your toes!!
So here is what came out of this chat:
If you own a business, private practice, corporation, want to have a better relations with everybody in every avenue of life, then by all means come for the event. There will be no competition so if that is an incentive then maybe it won’t work for you. Although we could have someone else there wanting to race around the building or paddle a canoe to make it more competitive. We will be in a supported environment assisting each other in to create better skills to deal with the Earth and its changes!
Oh, and if you have a business you can right it off. Yep, business coaching is part of life coaching. Talk to your accountant, but since it is two days of coaching/training/lessons/softening judgment you may even be able to include your rooms, meal expense, and mileage.
